Who we are.

I am a passionate mental health professional, child abuse survivor, and advocate for children's rights. With a B.S. in Applied Psychology (NYU 2013) and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling (NYU 2015), I began my career in early childhood research. After years spent studying and supporting families, I became acutely aware of the negative impacts of unhealed intergenerational trauma. Many people want to be "cycle breakers" but are unsure of where to start. The stigma faced by child abuse survivors can make it hard to reach out for help. The legacy of family dysfunction makes it challening  to break patterns. Suncatcher Wellness offers a solution in the form of affordable group-based services with others who "get it."
